The 35 page per minute (ppm) Dell 2335 monochrome MFP was introduced in N. America in October 2008. With its sleek black exterior and 35,000 page duty cycle this MFP was designed for the small or medium office. Standard functions included print, copy scan and fax.
The Dell 2355 followed in November 2010. Print speed was reduced to 33 ppm, and the duty cycle increased to 80,000 for the new model.
The 2335 ships with a standard 3,000 page yield cartridge, with replacement cartridges available in 6,000 and 3,000 page yields. The standard cartridge can easily be converted for use as a high yield cartridge when filled with the correct toner load and a replacement 6,000 page yield chip is installed. The printer will not print without a chip on the cartridge.
The 2355 also ships with a standard 3,000 page yield cartridge, with replacement cartridges available in 10,000 and 3,000 page yields. The standard cartridge cannot be be converted for use as a high yield 10,000 page cartridge. The printer will not print without a chip on the cartridge.
